Hustle Menu

Three ways to make money. Pick one, run it, log it.

Every dollar of real profit is XP, whichever hustle it comes from. Log it on HQ under Log Money. The goal isn't just money. It's knowing your numbers: what you spent, what you kept, and what your time was worth.

🔁 Resale flips

Buy something for less than people will pay, fix it up or list it well, and sell it.
Your numbers
  • Paid, sold for, platform fee %, supplies. HQ works out your real profit and margin.
  • A good flip isn't only the biggest profit. Fast, repeatable flips add up.

💦 Power washing

Driveways, sidewalks, patios, fences. People can see the before and after right away, and that's what sells the next job.
How to start
  • First jobs: family, neighbors and friends. Take a before and after photo every time (with their OK). That's your advertising.
  • Quote the price before you start, and agree on it.
  • Log the hours. HQ shows your profit per hour. If it's lower than you want, raise your price on the next job, not this one.
Safety, every time
  • Dad checks the machine and the job site before your first few jobs.
  • Closed shoes and eye protection. Never point the wand at people, pets, windows, car paint or wood you haven't tested.

📞 Glass calls for Unrivaled Marketing Solutions

Glass is UMS's service: weekly posts on a business's Facebook, Instagram and Google, $250 a month, month to month, no contract. It starts with a free audit that shows the owner where customers can't find them online. Your job is to book the free audit. Dad does the walkthrough.
Your pay: $125 every month for each business you sign up, for as long as they stay a Glass client. That's the same deal every operator gets: UMS keeps the other $125. Ten clients who stay is $1,250 a month. That's why you book the audit, not just make the call.
Rules
  • Only call businesses on the list Dad gives you. Some businesses belong to other operators.
  • Call during business hours. Say who you are. If they say no, say thanks and move on.
  • Only say what's true: the price, the free audit, no contract. Never promise results.
  • Booked audits earn XP. The money starts when a business you booked signs up. Log it each month when Dad pays you.
What to say
"Hi, this is Shepherd with Unrivaled Marketing Solutions. Is the owner or manager around?"

"We help local businesses show up on Google, Facebook and Instagram with new posts every week. We start with a free audit that shows where customers can't find you online. There's no cost and nothing to sign. Can I set up a time for my dad, David, to walk you through it?"

If yes: get their name, the best time, and the best number or email. Log it as an audit booked.
If no: "No problem, thanks for your time. Have a good day."
XP for calls
  • 2 per call · 5 per owner you talk to · 25 per audit booked · 50 per sign-up · plus 1 per dollar you're paid
Reading

20 minutes. Read up, not sideways.

The target is 20 minutes a day in something a little harder than easy. Then answer one quick question — that's the part that actually builds the skills the test wants.

The essay is the boss fight.

On the test, the essay was worth 10 points — the biggest single thing, and it's where the most ground is. Two tools here: write real essays with a structure, and drill the small mistakes.

Your Prompt

Argue a position — pick a side and back it up

The Structure — hit all 4

1
Hook + your claim
Grab them, then say exactly what you think. "The best flip isn't the cheapest one — it's the fastest one."
2
Reason 1 + proof
Give a reason. Then back it with a real example or fact. Don't just say it — prove it.
3
Reason 2 + proof
A second, different reason. New example. Two strong reasons beat five weak ones.
4
Wrap it
Restate your claim in new words. Leave them agreeing with you.

Write It

"Copy for Claude feedback" grabs your essay + a coaching request. Paste it into Claude to get told exactly what's strong and what to fix — that feedback loop is how the essay score actually moves.

Conventions Gym0 correct

These are the exact mistake-types you lost points on. Spot the fix. Getting good at catching them is the same skill as not making them.
